D2Moto Brake Pads

Anybody have any experience with these: D2Moto 1999-2010 Suzuki GZ250 Marauder 250 Kevlar Carbon Front Brake Pads? Just picked up a pair for my '99 GZ250. At $15 shipping included it seems like a good deal.

Kevlar is a good material and you can't beat that price.

Be sure to give them a proper break in before your life depends on them.

They should be good though.

Gentle braking, at first, until the pads bed in. You should be able to feel when they're bedded in, through the brake lever. At first, new brake pads feel a little "spongy" and soft.

Cool. So you just ride it around in the parking lot or private roads a low speeds, gently braking til you feel the action you describe kick in, right? Are we talking a long process or is it just a few minutes and good to go?

No need even for that. Just remember to brake gently, on your normal rides, and it won't take long for them to bed in.

Yeah, Alan is right. You just need to focus on smooth braking in the beginning, gradual and progressive; not hard, stop-n-go, or jerky use of the brake in the beginning. After just a little while they will be set and you can start to push their effectiveness with harder stops.

one thing to remember is after market pads are less costly but think about it a factory disk is about $200 unless u buy factory parts on line the non oe pad will wear the disk out faster be safe & sure stick with suzuki parts
