GZ Hey Howdy
Thank y'all for this wonderful forum. My MSF course is this Tuesday through Thursday; I am convinced I will last longer starting on a small bike. Been lurking here and on the Honda Rebel forums. I'm leaning toward the Suzi because of the simplicity and the fact one (2009) is available used locally with 700-800 miles on the odometer. Being retired, I don't need to commute, but am looking forward to the thrill plus a lower expenditure for gasoline. There are not too many twisties here in South Texas, but gobs of country roads for learning just outside my door on the south side of town. I should have done this forty years ago.

Awesome choice going with the gz, you wont regret it. I get 72 miles to the gallon with my 2000 gz. Welcome to the forum.

Re: GZ Hey Howdy
Thank you for the nice replies. This evening was a classroom session, and tomorrow I get to actually ride (a little). I hope I draw a GZ in the morning!
