Re: grips

I have the same problem on my right on... Annoying, it comes out almost an inch. Once a mechanic looked at it and he couldn't even yank it out by force to replace it, so kinda gave up back then.
I find myself always pushing it back in while riding...

Looking forward to get an answer as well haha

You will rarely be able to yank a bar end out using force. Sounds like it just needs to be tightened a bit. Be sure the bar end does not hinder the throttle operation. A sticky throttle can cause you more than enough grief. It is not to be used as a cruise control.

Re: grips

A week ago I noticed my right handle bar weight was loose when riding. Stopped and tightened it.

The thing should have been designed with a left thread - the way it is now, if you grip it along with the throttle, and you open the throttle, you will unscrew it.

Slide the bar end weight out just enough so there is no contact with the grip. Problem solved.

Nah, that's not the point, I said if you grip it along with the throttle so contact or no contact, you twist it anyway.

Maybe they should install a zapper into the bar end so everytime you grab the bar end while you're twisting the throttle it zaps you!

Oh wait, the GZ battery probably can't handle the extra needed zapping power.

I, too, grabbed a slight part of the bar end when I rode my GZ (quite honesty, I don't know why, but it felt better) and had problems and had to reinstall the bar end. I only owned it a short enough period of time that I had to reinstall it once.
