Re: 2007 blue GZ250 in Chattanooga, TN
After 2 days CL didn't index that one. Perhaps it was too long ... I don't know. Anyway I established an account there and uploaded a shorter ad - hopefully they'll index it now. All I can guess is that they manually review long posts and it can take an indefinite amt of time for such things to appear.

Re: 2007 blue GZ250 in Chattanooga, TN
Bike is sold.
GZ Rider, thanks for your suggestion. I could not easily think of another question that would both screen out scammers and spammers yet would be reasonably easy for a person genuinely interested in the bike. Finding out that Chattanooga is in Hamilton County requires nothing more than a quick trip to Wikipedia. That strikes me as a pretty low hurdle to leap over in order to be taken seriously as a potential buyer. I still got several inquiries, about 50/50 between those who bothered to name the county and those who did not. I didn't answer the latter ones, though in one case the incorrect response seemed genuine enough (with a local phone number) that I did make that exception. For the most part, I didn't want to give up my email to scammers and spammers. It's unpleasant enough when some garbage come through. You don't want to open the floodgates by responding to an email address-harvester. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
