Rain Gear
My bike is the only vehicle I have, and while I have gotten some winter gear to half way survive the cold, I need to be looking to Spring now as well since my situation will probably not change. What rain gear do you guys have or what would you suggest? I will probably also be looking for side bags that will fit and lock or can be made to lock to store the stuff in. Let me know, thanks again.

Re: Rain Gear
If you want raingear, go to a camping store, not a bike shop. MUCH cheaper, and usually good quality for campers/hikers. I got mine over ten years ago, and give it a spray of reproofer every year. Still as good as new. :2tup:

Re: Rain Gear
Look for rain gear in a workwear store. Make sure you get long enough pants so they don't pull up too much at the ankle when you sit on the bike.

Re: Rain Gear
I agree thar workwear stores have good stuff, but in my experience they're too heavy duty to be comfortable on a bike, and too bulky to roll up small enough to go in the saddlebags. Just my opinion.
