That is pretty cool.I think she is wearing the mask to prevent the spread of any germs from the Sar's (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) pandemic.I still see a few been worn around here.

Re: Japanese raingear

At the hospital where I work they are making everyone with any patient contact wear a face mask for the entire duration of the flu season (3 or 4 months) if they refused to get the flu shot (even if they're not sick.) Our flu shot rate for staff went up from about 75% to almost 100% but there are a couple of people who do wear the masks instead.

Re: Japanese raingear

but... they could have at least made it high viz or reflective or something. Or... like Star Wars or something. It really does make him look like Jabba the Hutt, especially when he swallows up that girl through the zipper in his backside.

Re: Japanese raingear

Wearing a face mask is quite common in parts of Japan. Air quality issues are common there.

The girl took a leak at 1:44 LOL

The practicality of the design is 100%. But if I were to be caught dead in it, my corpse would get up and walk away. :poke2:

Re: Japanese raingear

Just imagine wearing that rain suit on a very windy day. Side winds would be a thrill a minute.
