my bar end fell off :(((((

long story, which I won't relate because I already did and got logged out and lost the post. :cuss:

gist of it is, does anyone know how heavy these bar ends are? I'm looking at a 10 ouncer on ebay, and wondering if that would be enough. I'm shooting for *heavier* than stock, just for fun. Not shooting for 16-18 ounce heavy, because those cost way too much, but I guess it all depends on how heavy the stock ones are.

help? my google search has enlightened me not even a little.

Dont bother about the weight. They're not really for cutting down vibrations. Many riders have removed them altogether, to fit different grips, with no problems. They're more of a sacrificial item, to protect the levers, mirrors etc., if the bike goes down. :2tup:
