rear brake light switch spring

The little spring is missing connecting my rear brake pedal to the switch.

I was going to check at a hardware store, but does anyone know approx how long this tiny spring is? I'm guessing one inch or so.

Re: rear brake light switch spring

I would get one a couple of inches long. That way you can cut and shorten to the length you need.

Re: rear brake light switch spring

lol, well I can't imagine they cost more than a buck or so, so I think I'll do both: get a longer one for just in case, and get one that matches Mr. Spock's specifications. How can you argue with Mr. Spock?
