brand loyalty???

do you consider yourself brand loyal? what brand?

I use to be brand loyal but I found myself settling on certain things just to get the same brand. I am doing much better now. I have a scorpion EX0-700 helmet, icon gloves and just bought a first gear jacket today. I went for the scorpion jacket (for brand loyalty) but the first gear jacket had everything I was looking for. Its mostly a bright blue with some black so it is much more noticeable than my black jacket and it has armor in the elbows, shoulders and spine. Its mesh style which may not hold up as well against asphalt as leather but it is breathable which is what I was after. My black leather jacket is too hot. I can almost deal with it as long as I am moving in short runs. I get a little air up the sleeves but more that 5 sec at a light and its unbearable. Don't think I would last for a long run. (anything more than an hour is long for me newbie remember) 101 yesterday and 100 today with no clouds. I will test the new jacket tomorrow but I know it will be much better.
