Hey Y'all
Just saying hello. I just bought a 2000 GZ a couple of weeks ago and have been lurking around here since. What a fantastic site you guys have here. It's great to have a forum with such knowledgeable guys specifically for this little bike.
I have taken a long break from riding and never really did much road stuff, so I am basically a total newb. I just passed my written test for the motorcycle endorsement and am waiting on decent weather to do my riding exam. I will be riding the bike daily as a commuter. I work about 30 miles away (20 miles Hwy 10 in town). I got the bike to build confidence and learn some skills and then MAYBE move up to a bigger bike. Actually though, I am happy with this bike in every way except the inability to safely pass on the Hwy. If I end up moving back up to Alaska most of my riding will be under 50 mph so it will be perfect. For now I'm just happy to be riding and am enjoying the bike for what it is....a cruiser :rawk: I look forward to swapping stories and learning as much as I can with you guys. So....Hey :2tup: Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Hey Carl, welcome . I'm a newbie on the forum myself, but this little bike is made very well for it's purpose.
