Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. If you're a new rider and haven't taken the MSF BRC (Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course) then I'd highly recommend you do so. It's the best way to get off on the right foot and avoid bad habits. Ride safe.
