2 way radio ??
Anyone ever try any of the cheaper two way radios for closed face helmets to communicate between driver and passenger, or between two bikers?
My wife apparently wants to be able to talk to, or yell at me when she’s riding with me. LOL! Thanks Jerry Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: 2 way radio ??
Check out the Cardo systems on the market. We have Scala Rider Q2 radios for talking back and forth. It is nice to say "changing lanes" or "turning left" and have no fear of loosing the rider behind you. The system works well and fits nicely on the helmets. It is all handsfree stuff, voice activated etc. 2 speakers in the helmets with decent sound.

Re: 2 way radio ??
I tried the cheaper route with a driver to pass set up originally with only the one bike but it was a waste of $. Can't remember the brand but it wasn't worth half the price. Our present system actually works and that is really a bonus. We can be side by side or lost in traffic and still communicate. Cardo does make a driver/ pass set up and I would imagine it would work very well if our stuff is any indication. Also looks very user friendly.

Re: 2 way radio ??
I'm with Water Warrior on this one. Yes there are other systems but by the time you have them up and working they cost as much or more, and don't work as well. My wife and I have the Cardo Scala Q2s, they work well whether we are riding the two bikes or when we are together on my Goldwing. When she's riding pillion on the Goldwing she loves to make and take cellphone calls too which the Q2 does very well.

Re: 2 way radio ??
I was very hesitant with the price but after using the system and finding out how user friendly it was I think it is one of the "Best Buys" on the market. Yes, money can buy happiness.
