And also, is the part number for the replacement 16 tooth front sprocket still 27511-37200? I looked that up on BikeBandit and looked at what machines it fit, and the GZ250 wasn't there. Course that don't really mean much I guess. Just want to be sure before buying.

That is the proper number for 16- tooth sprocket.As for number of links I dont know,just count links on old chain.It is the same length for both sprockets.

IIRC the # of links for the chain is 110.

That's because the 16T is STOCK on some other bikes but not the GZ.

That's because the 16T is STOCK on some other bikes but not the GZ.
Sprocket is listed for G.S 500 I believe.Bikebandit has different numbers try these:#A527D576 or #17866.
