A new adventure.
A new adventure and never turned a wheel. Decided to dig into the Vstrom today. Why is the air filter box under the tank ? So off with the tank. Air filter is good but don't do that tank re-install just yet. Being an untrusting soul I decided to check and see if I really got the Iridium plugs that I paid for late last summer. Yup, I did. Too bad the tech didn't do more than finger tighten the plug. That was the rear plug, the easy one to find. The front plug was buried behind the radiator and shielded from site by all the plastic. What a flippin performance to check for another loose plug. It of course was tight. Also cleaned up the out of place wiring the tech left me to deal with. Hopefully fixed a minor rattle/noise in the front half of the bike and proceeded to button it up.
Does it run any better ?? Don't know yet. Tomorrow the Vstrom gets a new battery and then I'll find out. Wish me luck. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: A new adventure.
I got a long story that I will share sometime about stealerships , but for now, glad you got it all the way you want.
