Great to see you jump on board! Fantastic, paint job on your bike. Must of cost a pretty penny! Also thanks your sharing your road trip pictures, beautiful! Thumbs up to you too! :2tup: (As you are in your last photo!)

Re: new member
I was on the Dragon 2 years ago riding a rented KLR 650. A GZ would have been a better handling bike there and probably a lot more fun in all those turns. But I do have to admit my Vstrom would have been my weapon of choice.

Re: new member
Considering the speed limits and LEO coverage on the Dragon lately, I think the GZ, or a Ninja 250 would be the perfect bike to ride there...

Wow, now I feel like a loser for never cruising the 300 miles from my place to the Tail. You might have inspired me!

LOL. I may have had a long drive to get there but a friend travelled from Hungary to participate. He landed in New York and rode borrowed bikes all the way to Florida. We spent the July 4th weekend in Tenn and N.C. A trip of a lifetime for many of us to say the least. How is that for inspiration ?? |

Re: new member
Welcome Karen!
See from your address we're practically neighbors. I'm from Carthage, just a few miles down the road. Nice to know of someone else in the area. |
