Vstar update

Here is an updated photo of my Vstar. I've added windshield, engine guards, and actually mounted the saddle bags.cold ride002.JPG[/attachment:88asj5g3]

Re: Vstar update

I actually rode about 50 miles that day. The snow was really only bad on my driveway, and some of the secondary roads.cold ride004.JPG[/attachment:3dq169ad]

Looks good. I see you figured out it takes a better picture with the sun behind your back! Now, if you could move it a smidge out of the tree shadows...

Re: Vstar update

What is your technique for riding on the snowy roads? I used to be able to do it on my Moto Guzzi, but I either have lost the knack or the GZ is not as capable at it. Tires maybe. Not having any success at all lately.

The bike looks good...enjoy and ride safe!

The only good technique is "DON'T" !! Really.
Wait at least until the snow and ice is OFF the roads.
And even then, don't ride in early morning or late evening as the melting snow from the side of the roads can turn into patches of black ice.

Want to ride in the snow just for fun ?? Find an empty park or farm field and have somebody standing by just incase...........
