Aftermarket Tachometers for the GZ250?

Does anyone know of any aftermarket Tach's for the GZ250? I'd like to have one, just because (and make adjusting the idle speed more accurate.)

Might look kinda goofy, as there's not a lot of space to mount one though.

That would actually be just about perfect, it says it's like 2 x 2 inches, pretty small. Buuuut, $81 bucks.... ooof.

Yep, will do. I'll do some thinking about it. I may or may not get it. As long as it comes with instructions and mounting hardware, I may give it a try.

I'm guessing you'll hook it up to the "high tension" cable, according to the service manual?

"Includes detailed wiring and installation instructions plus a chrome handlebar clamp."

^^ It does, hmmmmm, this would be pretty damn cool to have. I'm gonna wait until I get my Spitfire windshield installed, I don't want it to interfere with that.

What's everyone else think about this?

Check jpcycles.com , They have some digital tachometers for around $150 that might work.

Cheers!
