Web of Trust
Hi there,
If you're using Mozilla Firefox to access gz250bike.com, might I suggest that you get the add on "WOT", that is "Web of Trust" With this add on, anybody visiting this site for the first time can (if they also have WOT) see at a glance that it a safe site with regard to child safety, privacy etc. If you go to WOT > this site, you will see that I am the only person to post remarks. Anyone else is at liberty to post remarks, & the more favourable remarks, the better the rating will be. This is a great add on, & it's saved me from going onto what I thought were perfectly respectable movie sites, because WOT warned me that they were suspected attack sites, before it would let me enter those sites. I can only say that I'm impressed with it.

Re: Web of Trust
Firefox 3 already has something like this built in with the new version. Blocks sites AND tells you why with a detailed report. I just hit on one last night.

Re: Web of Trust
I'm on version 3.0.4 & I've had to get WOT as an add on. Is there an update to Firefox, after 3.0.4?

No, but they did add in their own tool ... firefox blocked a site the other night. Usually my A/V catches bad sites, but this time firefox nailed it.
I wish i could remember that other one that checked google searches .... it might have been adaware addon or something. |

Re: Web of Trust
Hey Dupo,
Guess what! There is a Firefox update after 3.0.4. A few minutes ago firefox did an automatic update to 3.0.5, & when I checked what it contained - sure enough, the attack site warning was included. Apparently 3.0.5 hasn't been out very long, so they must have updated american computers first.
