New Rider
I just bought me a 2006 about a week ago and I love it. I had a Night Hawk 750 about 4 years ago, but I love the GZ250. I know very very very little about the bike; basically just know how to ride. I know this site will be able to help me out with maintenance and upkeep. Look forward to hearing some great feedback.

Welcome! Have you had the GZ in any "twisties" yet ? If not, you will probably find that it handles a LOT differently than the Hawk. Take it easy the first time or two. I had a HUGE tendency to oversteer the first time in tight curves.

Yo bama, welcome from LA. That would be Lower Alabama, for the uninformed, we in northwest Florida get it though. :2tup:
Ditto on the twisties around B'Ham, take it easy untill you get a real "seat of the pants" feel for the little geezer.
