SW Florida
Hi All,
Gary and Carol here in North Port, Florida. We have a '04 GZ250, Black. Added the Suzuki windshield and sissybar. Back in the early 70's I had a Suzuki 350 and she had a Honda 350. We bought the bike mainly so we could be mobile once we parked the RV. Took the rider safety course and are having a ball with the bike. The picture is of our '04 Suzuki GZ250 in front of '01 Fleetwood Tioga 23E. Just behind the right hand mirror our '05 Mariah 19SX bowrider. The picture was taken in Key Largo. Ride On! Welcome to the forum! You may want to take a look at our needle shim mod, looks like you have alot of blueing on your pipes. (lean/hot running). |

Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your bike. Good idea using the GZ250 for a way to get around once you are at the campsite. Sure a lot easier than "pulling up stakes" to run a quick errand and with the cost of gas the (approximately) 70 mpg is a nice plus. Glad to hear you took the safety course even though you both had experience earlier.
Once you check out the fuel mix and adjust if necessary there are a few things on the market that should be able to take care of the blueing and give you some shiny pipes again. Sparkley chrome is always nice. Cheers! |
