headlight modulator.

Was curious as to whether a Kisan Modulator would fit into the 250's light bucket. Nope !! Won't fit, tried one from my Strom and there is not enough depth behind the 250 light. On the plus side a modulator from signal dynamics is in the mail and should be easy to wire in. Again on the plus side, I put a brake light modulator on the 250. The actual unit is quite small and installation is easy. The unit is stuck to the top of the air filter box with 2 sided tape. 2 wires in the brake light circuit and a ground directly to the battery for a good circuit. Works nice, flashes 5 times and then goes on steady. It is also made by Kisan and I got it from signaldynamics. Also waiting for a windshield to arrive.

Okay,
I am back with a correction about the head/tail light modulators. They are NOT Kisan units. They are DiamondStar units. Don't know what I was thinking before. And you can order a combo kit for both ends and save a wee bit of change. Have a combo coming in the mail, tail unit for the Storm and headlight unit for the 250. Now both bikes will modulate on both ends.
And about the windshield. Ordered a SlipStreamer Spitfire S-06(clear). Many thanks to this forum for directing me to it. Can't wait to get Happy hobo out there and grinning like a kid.
