Missing Title

Hi everyone, just made an acct here. Got a 2004 GZ250 from my folks, who themselves got it at an auction with no title in 2010 or thereabouts. its been sitting for over a decade (with a little maintenance from my brother here and there to make sure it still runs), and i just started riding it a month or two ago. how hard will it be for us to get a title from the california dmv? we have no idea who the original owners were and it hasn't had a title in over a decade. thanks for the help!
