Starting issues after winter
Well I'm hoping its after winter finally... It's supposed to be in the 50's after Tuesday!
When I stored my bike I wrapped the intakes, stuffed the tail pipe, filled the tires, and filled the gas tank, and added a fuel stabilizer. I also took the battery out, and didn't hook it up to a charger. Yesterday I unwrapped and stuffed it, put the battery back in, and hooked up the charger. Luckily this morning the charger indicated the battery was still good and full! I hit the start, and worked at it a bit. Eventually it it turned over and sounded normal... for about 5 seconds, and then died. When I hit the start again I can hear it cranking, but it won't turn over. I did try putting the gas to PRI and hitting the throttle a bit... Did I flood something? Any help very much appreciated. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
