Change handlebar and turn signal swap Questions

Hi

I have been reading a few threads and doing some searches, but not seen exactly what I am looking for; a few things!

I hope someone can tell me how to remove the grips to reuse on new handlebars? They must be stuck on with some adhesive bond as they don't seem to budge.

The new bars are half the height of the stock ones; I guess I will know when I get there but should I be concerned with having cables too long?

With the indicators, I am replacing stock with these

Would I be OK to clip off the 2 wires on the stock signal before they go to the bulb unit and connect in to those new ones at the connector?

Thanks for any help or links to existing discussions!
