Carb Air Screw - Unplug It?

Guys,

My new "mechanic's special" '09 GZ250 hasn't run in a couple years, so I thought a carb cleaning would be the place to start. I've done it before, and I'm confidant I've got all the passages and jets clean and clear, except for one.

The idle air screw seems to be capped off, as if to prevent users from adjusting it. I really feel I need to remove the screw to fully clean her out. I imagine I can just drill a hole (look, it's already center punched), and pop it out. But, best to be sure.

What do you think?
