Noobie here!

Hi...my name is Annie and I joined you nice bunch of folks today.
I just bought a used GZ250 yesterday and it is all set to go,but I have to have the proper permits first.I am waiting for my brother to come back from a trip so he can take the bike to my house.
The bike is a 2000,with...200 miles on it!! Seriously!! And it's teal,which is one of my favorite colors.
About me: I am a Boomer,turning 60 in September.I have been retired after 33 years of Civil Service for 6 years now,and decided I would treat myself to a bike.I had bikes when I was in my 20's,but I'm pretty sure I will re-learn how to ride pretty quickly.I will take the written test,then practice with my brother as my supervisor,then take the road test asap after that.
I live in west Michigan,on the Big Lake,and have a lot of quiet roads here where I can ride and relax.
I have 4 dogs,two cats and 4 parrots.I have a Wrangler as well,which uses a lot of gas,but I need it to take the dogs to the dog park,and for the winters here in Mi. The bike will help cut down on my gas usage for sure!!
My interests are photography,golf,birding,and anything related to helping animals.
I am looking forward to meeting new people here who share my love of biking.
