New GZ250 Owner with questions

Just picked up a 1999 GZ250 to save on gas. Love it already. I also own a 2005 Harley Deuce, but this little 250 is quickly becoming my favorite toy. Can't wait to start tinkering with it. This forum has already proven itself very useful so I figured I might as well join up. If anyone out there feels like they have some useful info for a new owner I'd appreciate any advice.

The first thing I'm planning on doing is replacing the spark plug, oil, oil filter, air filter, etc. any recommendations on brands or types? Synthetic oil ok? Does anybody out there decarbonize their engines regularly? Anybody try seafoam in their oil?

Anything specific to look for as part of a GZ250 tune-up?
