Choke makes bike harder to turn over...?
Ok - I posted a more specific question about an issue I had starting my bike when it was cold, and have recharged my battery in hopes that solves the problem. But there is still something I don't quite understand....
When I was trying to start my bike the other morning when it was cold, I noticed that as I applied the choke, the bike struggle to turn over. If I backed off on the choke, it turned over more easily. But as I always understood it, the choke has to do with the air/fuel mixture, or increasing the amount of fuel into the cylinder - something like that. So just why would that make it harder to turn over? This could seem like a dumb question, but hey - I come by it honest! :retard: Thanks all! Az Kev
