Hello!

My name is Dave.

I just bought a 2002, black, with 975 miles on it. It has obviously been garaged, and looks essentially new. It seems to run well, and I think the carb is not gunked up as I might have expected.

As for me, I have about 13 years riding experience on everything from a Harley 165cc two stroke Hummer made in 1954 (top speed about 50 mph) to a Kawasaki Concours 1000cc sport touring bike. I've owned 15 bikes now. I also currently own a 1996 BMW R850R.

I do a lot of my own wrenching, and intend to do all maintenance on the GZ 250. I lost count, but I think I've probably accumulated somewhere between 80 and 100,000 miles over the years.

A couple of years ago I took the training course to be an MSF Basic Rider Coach. The job didn't work out, but the training was helpful, and I didn't have to pay for it. Naturally we had to ride all the training bikes and learn to demo the exercises. I've wanted a GZ 250 ever since, and now I have one!
