Moedad, the NightHawks were and still are a great looking bike. I may be mistaken but I seem to remember they had hydraulic valve lifters that were nearly 100% trouble free. As for a beginner bike, well, maybe a more mature full size adult would be okay. As for a really big beginner bike we a older fellow in riding class with us 2 years ago. Big man with a fair bit of strength so they gave him a honda 450 twin and he settled in very nicely. His own beginner bike that was delivered was a really big Victory.
