Hello.....
Hello all!
Like the forum, been lurking for a couple of weeks trying to decide between a GZ or a rebel. Liked several things about the GZ more and found what I think is a really good deal. So last friday laid the money down and bought an 07. Since I ride one now figured I better join. Been riding off and on for the last 30 years. Rode dirt bikes as a kid in Wv, had an old KZ440 for awhile, and a GS550 for the last several years. Would get leg cramps on the KZ all the time and the GS would never carry a charge. Nice to go out and just turn the key and go for a ride! I live 3 miles from work with little or no freeway driving so this little bike is perfect for me. Besides every time I fill this thing I feel as though I'm saving 40 bucks! Will pay for itself in no time. Will add the recomended windshield. Havent decided on what kind of saddle bags yet and peeling the stickers is all I will probably do until the warranty has expired. Then will be bugging folks about rejetting pod filters and better exhaust. I have compared the stock exhaust to the antique kiddie cars at cedar point, but in reality the cedar point cars may sound better : ) Appreciate everyones posts that I have read so far Thanks Jeff Amazingly my bike looks just all other stock GZ's but here goes.....
