WTF Oil in airbox

My Suzuki ;).jpg Hope that attachment works.

Ok. Gonna check three things this weekend.

Chain tension
Air filter
Compression test.

Bike has between 15 and 16 K miles on it.
Only had bike a couple weeks.

Chain needs adjustment but it and sprockets in good shape.
Haven't done compression test yet.

However.... The air filter check.....

Pulled the filter and it's in great shape but I can see the entire bottom of the
filter box is wet.... So I stick my finger in the box and touch the bottom.
It comes out wet at the tip and a drip of motor oil falls from that tip of finger to
the ground.
Now... I know there is a breather line that pulls 'blow by' actively from the engine
case to the airbox to get consumed by the engine.
And I know this is a 'emission control' that was introduced by the govt on cars
in roughly the late 60's to early 70's.

I recheck the oil level cold... 'oil level the previous owner left it at'
It's a little above the high mark... 1/5 of an inch high of the high mark....

Question is this.
Should I be concerned with oil coated wet air box floor?
Possibly the overfill of the previous owner?

Now I feel more trepidation at the compression test I will do later today or
tomorrow.

Still though. It's a low miles engine and the oil is in good shape......

Thoughts?
