Newbie Tire Questions
Hey everyone! This is my first post and this seems to be a very friendly and informative group of people, so I thought I'd ask for some help....
I have a 2001 GZ250 that I need two new tires on and I just read that you can't have tubeless tires on spoked wheels. My current tires are the factory installed Dunlop d404f's. So my questions are as follows.... 1. How can you tell if your current tire is a tube tire, tubeless tire, or a tubeless tire with a tube - without having to take the tire off? 2. Are the spokes on the rim sealed at the factory so that you can run tubless tires at any time? 3. Is it better to have a tube tire or a tubless tire, or does it not really make a difference? 4. I was hoping to get this Shinko SR735 for the front and this Shinko SR734R for the back. Would these two tires work or would I need to purchase tubes (and whatever else). If I do need to get tubes, what kind/size would I need? Thanks to all for your help! All of this can be kinda confusing to someone who has never dealt with it before.
