Newbie to the Group

Hi,

while I dont ride a GZ250, I do have a Z250 engine on a mini buggy!

I hope this qualifies me to hang around the group. I promise not to hijack any bike posts into buggy posts.

I found a great deal on the engine, I was impressed with the design, especially the internal oil filter. I am in the process of getting it running right now. When i purchased it i only got the engine, no carb or electrical componnents

I have mounted an XR250 slide type carb, now im working on the electrical / ignition system. I almost cried when i found out that suzuki wants $400.00 for a CDI. Im woking on designing a system for that now, but any suggestions are welcome.
