Hello, New to this site

I recently got a 2004 GZ250 in several pieces. It is my retirement project. I have not been on a bike for some tome and wanted a simple and safe bike I could enjoy and take care of. I have the whole thing apart and I am restoring and repairing as I go. I have repaired and painted the tins and am now tackling the mechanicals. Before I started I did have the motor running. I will do a complete overhaul in any case. I have a lot of found time on my hands so I am in no hurry to get this on the road. My skills are quite rusty I am sure. In any case I have had a lot of experience in mechanicals and body and paint. Be glad to offer any help I can. I will post the results when completed. It will be triple black with mostly stock appearance. The exhaust will be flat black. I am doing all the work in my garage/shop so I am using basic tools and equipment.
