Gulf Shores Alabama
Monday I went for a short ride (238 miles roundtrip) from Destin Florida to Gulf Shores Alabama. Made the usual detours along the way when a sign would catch my eye - this was after all an adventure. I took pictures of some of the signs showing where I was, but, when you live at the ocean you don't take many pictures of the ocean  .
Keep in mind that Florida is flat, I had almost no headwind and it was 99% highway driving... 237.9 miles on 2.82 gals of fuel = 84.36 mpg :2tup: Here are a few pics from the ride: unusual color for building Canal from State Park lake to ocean These are from a scenic turnout to nowhere This building has been open and withstood hurricanes since 1956
