Milestones

It's too bad I don't see Sarris on here anymore. The odometer on my Yamaha clicked past 15K on Saturday and I'm about 100 miles from 5K on the Geezer. When you add in the 500 or so miles I have on the Kawasaki, I'm getting within hailing distance of the 24,000 he said I should have before I rode a "big boy" bike.

Put another 70 or so on the Strat tonight with my semi-regular run down to Alta Coffee in Newport Beach. Running as good as ever. Felt real nice on the ride back - at about midnight it's nice and cool and there's only light traffic on the freeways.

Feeling fortunate I took the plunge when I did and have managed to get through my first 20,000 miles or so without any significant mishaps. I was posting some of the pictures and the route of the camping trip earlier today and realized that, that one trip accounted for over ten percent of my lifetime mileage.

I have to get out more!
