I have never understood this mentality...just because something is cheap and/or has lasted longer than expected is not a good reason to tear it up...that is unless the reason you bought it is to test it out by pushing it to the max...but doesn't really sound like that is the case here. I like taking care of my stuff, even if its on its last leg, I can't stand doing anything to any of my items that could ever harm them or compromise them. My car has 209,000 miles on it and I still baby it....and it still runs just fine! lol
