What years are interchangable for body parts?

Hi all! Newbie here! I just picked up my 250 Saturday! I'm anxious to learn to ride! This is ALL new to me. I've been riding on the back of my hubby's bike for years and decided it was time to get my own bike.

Anyways, on to my question. My 250 has a cracked right side cover. My bike is a '99. What years are interchangeable on the body parts?
