New "old guy"
Hello all
Just joined. Tuesday, a 1999 GZ250 found its way to my house. I bought it on Sunday and had a friend ride it home Tuesday. I have not been on a bike in 41 years. I am scheduled for the Rider Safety Course beginning of June. The bike has only 1900 miles on it. It rode home flawlessly and my buddy (a Harley rider) was very impressed with it, on the hour ride home. (I was following him in my car). I have cleaned it up a bit and can't wait for June to get here. Very happy to be here--this looks like a great forum. "41 Years"!!!! About time you got back on 2 wheels. The GZ will be a great reintroduction to the 2 wheeled world. It is very forgiving to new and returning riders to build their skill levels and develop confidence.
Pick up a copy of Proficient Motorcycling by David Hough. It is by far one of the best reads for any rider to gain knowledge and understanding of riding. |
