well considering it's -40 with the wind chill and we've had weeks of snow here, most anything will look like paradise

Goose, remember that good things worth working for and rarely are easy. Uprooting the family may be difficult now but in the future will likely be worth celebrating.
Snow and -40 is no fun unless you love snow machines. Your 2 wheeled convertible will thrive in California as will your family once you get established. New friends, new activities, the odd earthquake will be yours for the taking. 2 words: sun screen. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Thanks WW.
I was hoping to hear back yesterday but it looks like it'll be later this week...which is killing me. The suspense is almost unbearable especially considering everything is shut down at work because of the cold. Now I'm stuck at my desk just waiting for the email. I appreciate the comments though, they remind me that its all gonna be okay. |

they might pay for the ticket . just tell them you need to come down there and check out the operations for a few days before you can make a final decision.

I'm really hoping to find myself in Cali for an face to face next week, however when I talked to them last week they were hoping to have the deal closed in 2 weeks so they may offer the job prior to a face to face.
I'm an adventurous type, I'd be fine with dropping everything and going into it blindly. Wife is freaking out about the details though. Big shocker! |
