Hi guys

Hello everyone,

I picked up a gz250 back in early december, but haven't ridden it at all besides riding it home on the day i bought it. (There was snow on the ground too LOL).

Here's a picture of said gz250.

I like to tear everything down and inspect everything once i get it and do all the preventative maintence as much as i can.

Since i got it, i changed the chain & sprocket, did the needle shim mod, inspected front brakes, rear brakes and spark plug. Also tried to do valve clearance check but couldnt get the damn big cover off lol.

Anyways i put the battery back in today, primed the carb and it fired up right away so i was happy .

Glad to be a part of this gz250 community .

Hi there. Don't recognize the logo on the tank. Any chance of a close up pic?

The odd logo on the tank and 2 tone seat makes your bike unique. Glad to have you join up.

Thanks, the seat and the odd decal was done by the previous owner.

My initial plan was to paint the red parts black and go "bobber". But now i don't know anymore, starting to grow attached to the way it is LOL.

Also did valve clearance adjustment today, since i couldnt remove the damn "generator cover" i just put a socket on the sprocket nut and turned it in 5th gear.

Welcome

I'm a big bobber fan but I love the look of your bike.

Nice purchase

Qasual - I just realized this is the one on CL for 1200 by Kaitlyn.

Surprise I have not figured you were in Vancouver in the first place.
