Re: Engine Popped, now wont start
Have you checked that it's the correct plug? It should be NGK DR8EA or equivalent.

Re: Engine Popped, now wont start
All I have is that this doesn't make any sense unless there is something ON TOP of the cylinder....a metal sliver or something.....
If the correct part numbers have apparently been used this is the only thing I can think of that would alter the clearances between the plug and piston.... chandlerbingfl Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Engine Popped, now wont start
I was gonna say the same thing, thats the EXACT same thing that happened to me. Looked like the spark plug was hitting but pull it apart and it was a broken valve.

Re: Engine Popped, now wont start
you are problem running the engine to hot loose head bolts low oil missadjusted valves if the pipes going to the head
are discolored its because dirty air filter & need to open the air screw up a little & use a NGK dr9ea plug. Just a note for the gz250 owners ck the oil to see ir it starts to turn black aftera oil change 50 to 100 miles use suzuki oil & filter only Ill say it again mine is new condition 80k 2000 13.5 yrs lol love your bike use it but dont abuse it |
