Bike Reassembly Question
Hello From Melter,
For the past month I have been rebuilding and restoring my basket case GZ250. Yesterday I started it for the first time and with a little help from my friend "either" go it going and finally adjusted until it purred. I will be posting pictures once it is all back together and polished. About a month ago when I posted the issue of the two plugs at the bottom of the crankcase and had the pin and spring issue come out. You all helped, especially Blaine, in getting my ignorance corrected. I put the parts on my bench and put back the plug. I forgot to replace the parts. My Question: I do not remember how the pin and spring go back. I think it is the pin first and the spring then the plug. I am uncertain. Would you guys help me get it right? Thanks so much. BTW this was supposed to be my retirement project but I have been so engrossed in it I have finished long before I thought I would . It is still too cold here to ride. Re: Bike Reassembly Question
Thank you for this. The manual was a great help in putting the parts, especially the engine back together. It did not however include this part. I am sure that the pin is followed by the spring followed by the plug but I do want to be 100% sure. If there is someone who has had this problem or knows and has some advice please help!
