rode to Elbe today

yeah, elbe.

my friend ryan and i decided to go on a ride to mt. rainier, but we got a late start and had to turn around to beat the sun. he's got a ninja 250, which he let me ride for a bit. i got it up to 90mph easily with hardly any vibration or engine whine-age; yeah, maybe i'm a little jealous. but only a little. this is where we went:

it's about 50 miles each way if you follow the highway, although if you look at the green line (which is only a very rough guess of where we actually went) you'll notice we got hopelessly lost for a bit somewhere around graham.

i should probably mention that i kicked his ass in the twisties. yeah, he's got a sportbike so he should totally win. but he didn't. that was probably the most fun i've had in my life.
