Introduction

Greetings all! My name is Bill Kalamon. I have been riding bikes for quite a few years. I have had big bikes in the past but in 2010 I sold the big ones and am only riding what I call my heavy bicycle - the GZ250- I bought it new in 2008 and ride all year. I am from Berks County PA which is about 55 miles West Northwest of Philadelphia. I live about 10 minutes from the Reading Motorcycle club (Oley PA). I decided to join this forum to hear about some of the experiences 250 owners are having. I have traveled to most every state in the Continental US. I toured the country in 1980 on a custom built bicycle which weighed 177 lbs with a full load of water. I was in Washington State for the second eruption of Mount St Helens.

I am a digital Photographer/ videographer, welder, carpenter, husband, dad and grandfather. I pretty much enjoy any activity outside. My ideal vacation would be: give me a knife, tent and some warm clothes and set me loose in the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming for a week or so.

I really enjoy riding anything with 2 wheels but being just about 60 years old, I seem to turn a throttle more then I spin pedals anymore. I look forward to reading about other's problems/adventures/repairs. Have a wonderful and safe ride. Bill K

Welcome from Florida. Sounds like you've had an exciting life. The GZ is a great little bike.
