Ride Down The Coast....

...some pics from my recent ride down the coast:

Just before I took off .... you can see the new horn I just fitted to replace the stock black one here...

...a wee rest overlooking a small cliff...(here you can see my home made digital camera mount - beside my clock!)

...here, I captured the power station in the background...

...same location - I just stopped for a second to capture THIS sun going down....

...heading back along the coast, I stopped on a slipway...

...closer image, overlooking the beach...

...almost home, back along the coast as the sun sets on the bike (note the highlights!)...

Finally....the last shot!

Cheers....

Great photos! Thanks for the idea about the clock - I've been trying to figure out where to put a little time-piece somewhere. Then again, sometimes it's better to ride and lose track of time!

What year of marauder it is this bike? I've noticed that is different than mine.

Your ride was awesome!

Hey Guys

Cheers....I must admit - any excuse to go out riding around with a camera off an evening and I'll take it :2tup: :2tup:

Doug577 - yeah ... I also (at the same time) bought a thermostat, also chrome so I'd know the temperature - looks JUST like the clock but it is obviously the thermostat. .... then realised there was NO space for the two!! Still, I may swap em aboot one time.

You can nab these online for about £30-£40 (poss around $70-$80) - they arent cheap but, solid, waterproof and more chrome

That said, your right - it is better to forget the time - I Just need the clock for the morning commute ... if time is getting on, I do some filtering

warlock2008 - this is a GZ125 (rather than your 250) which is where the differences are. As far as I know, other than the engine and the exhaust, the bike is identical in size, etc. I think a few cosmetic differences exist though - different engine cover I think .... but size wise (and in the main) its the same. The decals/tank badge are different too actually .... now I think about it, theres a few differences!

May I suggest that you visit your profile and put in your location. Since there's no "slot" for bike type, that can go in your sig.

We kind of assume a GZ250 unless indicated otherwise.

GZ125 is in the sig bud.....however, tis a bit on the wee side - I'll make it a bit bigger

Either that, or I'll add GZ125 to my location :2tup: ....

Joking aside, its a fair shout ER......will do.
