Re: Summer riding.
I can relate to not riding in the winter. Thankfully the riding season here is a lot longer than the season on the Canadian Prairies. There are a lot of folks who do ride all winter long on the coast but I am not one of them. I just hate the extra clothing and overheating once I stop and get away from moving through the cooler air.

Re: Summer riding.
Makes me feel lucky that I can ride 52 weeks a year. The temperature hardly ever goes below 10ºC (50ºF)

Re: Summer riding.
23* F is nothing.
I did a year or so without a car. Try 19* in the rain. That'll put some hair on your chest |

Hahah. That's awesome. I image your face didn't indicate it was much fun until after you came to a safe stop.
For whatever reason, my riding always increases in the winter.... I'm a whacko nut job. |

Re: Summer riding.
Hey Gz
You said "Come on down, y'all to North Carolina. I'll ride as long as the temp stays 30 F or above. Haven't gone a full week without being able to ride." I would consider settling down in NC. I have a very good friend that I keep in touch with, he's down there in Raleigh just like you. I am single and right now, I'm unemployed. I would move down there right now if I could score a job and a small room to stay. The job and room would be my biggest obstacle.
