Hi!
Hey everyone! I'm new here. This is the first 250 ever in the household. I bought it for my wife for a starter bike. I actually have it posted in the for sale section, but if I can solve her issue, I would like to keep it. She complains that it sounds like a lawn mower. :retard:
Any ideas on how to get it to sound deeper? If I can get it to sound better, she'll want it and keep it. It's what I want to do. anyhow I took it out for a real ride for the first time yesterday. It's a fun little bastard. I'm not use to riding something so small and..........slow. Last bike I had was an 1800, and right now, I'm riding an SS. I tried to take a 90 degree uphill curve yesterday doing 50 lol. It didn't work out so well. I was about to wipe out a mailbox. I intentionally low sided because the bike is so light. I just put my foot down and bounced it back up  Over ten years of perfect riding, and I nearly wipe out on a 250... WIN :2tup: Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Hi!
Welcome to the forum ! :2tup:
Regarding the sound, you know that electric bikes are available, and because they are so quiet they are making sound systems for them so they sound like a classic explosion engine motorcycle. It won't be long before you can mount a generator/speaker system where you can choose Ducati, Triumph, Guzzi etc. sounds with different exhaust systems for each (not Harley because they want too much money for it). The question is though - can the GZ's electric system pull it ? :??:

Re: Hi!
Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. There's not much you can do to make the exhaust sound deeper. Enjoy it for what it is. Ride safe.

Re: Hi!
I used to just run over an empty can and it would get stuck on the front wheel and stay stuck under the fork of my bicycle, ahhhhh my motorcycle sound. It kinda sounds like the gz. The sound of the gz is kinda getting on my nerves now, for real.
