Re: New bike!
Congrats on your new bike, Blackbird! Mine is a black 2009 that I bought in May with 0 miles on it. I now have 1400 miles. My GZ is named the Beast. Happy riding and have fun. It's so easy to fall in love with the GZ it's a great bike!

Re: New bike!
I put a little over one hundred miles on her in the first two days. Good atgatt practice for the safety course. Thanks for the support!

Re: New bike!
Have fun and be safe. Be prepared to kick your bad habits you didn't know you had at MSF.
I worked late tonight and just got home around 10:00pm. Some of the electricians were getting ready to leave. We were talking about the bikes they had and they were asking questions about mine. Right before I left I pushed out so I wouldn't blast them with gas fumes, and said "Prepare for the light show" and I flicked on my LED kit. I got a couple of chuckles and hear done of them say "He's got a light kit on a 250", to which I replied... anything that keeps me from getting hit. You'll have a blast, meeting other bikers is great fun, except when they're Harley elitist.
